The Tontitown Area Fire Department is under a contract with the City of Tontitown to provide fire, ems, haz/mat and rescue services.
We protect just over 5,000 people in Northwest Washington County, Arkansas. Our mutual aid and automatic aid agreements extend to over 200,000 people in Washington and Benton Counties. We also protect critical infrastructure including Arkansas Hwy 112, US Hwy 412 and a power plant.
Automatic Aid to City of Johnson, Wheeler FD, Wedington FD, City of Elm Springs, Cave Springs FD, Gallatin FD.
Mutual Aid to Northern Washington County and Southern Benton County.

Staffing
Fire Station 51 is staffed Monday – Saturday , 7AM – 5PM by two firefighters.
The City of Tontitiown also has a full time Operations Chief (Our Asst. Chief) and a Fire Marshal (Firefighter)
Monday - Friday at Station 51
After 5PM and on Sunday’s the department is covered by volunteer firefighters.

ISO Information
As of July 1st, 2016, The ISO rating inside Tontitown City Limits is Class 4. The current ISO rating outside Tontitown City Limits is Class 5.
Any location outside the city and more than 1000 feet from a fire hydrant is a Class 10
